"...and it has flowers on it!!!" GB  As you can see, Georgia loves her new Big Girl Bed (& Wyatt too).  She is sleeping (and jumping) well these days.

My Travel Karma....

So, the kids and I were trying to get to Chicago, again, but my "Travel Karma" was at an all time low last Thursday.  Short version goes like this - the kids and I get to DIA with all the appropriate gear (stroller, bags, car seats, etc) in plenty of time only to find AA flight cancelled, re-booked on Midwest, new flight cancelled, back to AA, re-booked on United, long lines to check-in at UA and flight leaves soon, nice folks in line and a patient agent let us skip ahead of the line, off to security, going well - ooops, need "special" screening, new longer line, clock ticking, crazed mom with 2 kids starting to melt-down, tears work to my advantage, people let me go ahead of them again, the kids roller bags searched and swabbed, kids are patted down too, finally off to the train, and to the gate in time!!!  made it!!  almost...wrong tickets, we were issued return vouchers, back on phone to AA, o.k. all straightened out...board plane, snowing, need to de-ice...45 minutes later - TAKE OFF!!!  We're on our way!!  And when we return, I'm off to do some good deeds and pay-it-forward.  Here's to better luck next time!!

We had a wonderful visit with Papa & Nena and Kristen & Matt in Libertyville!!  The trip included a water park, the Children's Museum, a birthday celebration, delicious dinners, yummy treats, and fun with Jello Jigglers, dinosaurs, dragons, etc.....

We spent St. Patrick's Day in Denver with Brooke & Gary, and Val & John and all their kids. We all had a great time on a sunny day.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

It was Opening Weekend for the Rockies at Coors Field and Wyatt and Evan headed to their first game of the season today.  The Rockies lost, again, but fun was still had by all...at least until the 5th inning, a.k.a. naptime!   During innings 5 through 8 Wyatt slept in his seat leaning on Ev.  And what did he talk about most?  The "Mile-High" ice cream cones, of course!  Yummmmm.....
