Brooks Family Vacation

Brooks Vacation 2008

(o.k., yes, it was over a month ago)

Grandma & Grandpa Brooks, Aunt Karen & Uncle Scott and baby Annabel, and Uncle Stu were all in Summit County with us this year!!  We enjoyed  taking in a BBQ contest, concerts at Lake Dillon, hiking (Evan & Stu did 2 14ers), fishing, shopping, boating on Lake Dillon, Wii, the Farmer's Martket, yummy home cooked meals, watching the Olympics, pool time, biking the trails, naps, and more....   We miss you all and were so glad you all shared your summer break with us.  Thank you Grandpa & Grandma for making it all happen.  We love you.  S,E,W,&G

Georgia's First Day of Preschool

Georgia woke up in bed exclaiming, "I go to school today!"  She carried her lunch bag around all morning and asked repeatedly, "we go now?"  There is no doubt she loves it and her teacher "Chatty Patty".  No tears were shed on her part, as for Ev and I, well, we were a bit weepy.
