"Sheba", the toad who lives in our window well, has returned for the 3rd summer & enjoyed a tour of the family room this morning. Wyatt laughs so hard - it makes me laugh too.

The Recital was today.
Really, I'm not sure what to say...maybe Evan should write the commentary on this one. Georgia had a lot of fun! A cute dress, sparkles, and a stage - what more does a girlie girl need? I know I'm not cut out to be a 'show mom' - - think singed toile - - oh well, thank goodness .
It sure was cute though!

Look Out Kindergarten
It's official, Wyatt has "graduated" from pre-k & is off to Kindergarten in the fall. His class had a cute ceremony where they sang a few songs & shared what they wanted to be when they grow up. In his class of 15 boys and 5 girls - basketball, soccer, and baseball players were common choices amongst the boys (1 wanted to be a dad), and the girls had aspirations of becoming a grandma, neurologist, and artist to name a few. Wyatt also won the class "Cubby" in the lottery to keep for good. Cubby spent several days with each child in the class and the kids each wrote a journal entry about their adventures with Cubby. During the month of May, you could earn the opportunity to have your name added to the drawing for Cubby if you demonstrated good behavior that day. Wyatt was determined to have his name added every day, and he did!! I had no idea the way to motivate him was with a stuffed bear named Cubby. Needless to say, he was super excited to win the stuffed bear and has been sleeping with him every night (only a few kids shed tears after not getting their name drawn, but recovered quickly). Cheers to summer! Now only if the rain would go away :)
