Four Wheels, No More....

Wyatt left his training wheels behind last week and hasn't looked back since.  He has been using them on and off since last Labor Day, but now they are gone for good.  After a few loops around the "Circle Park" last Monday night he wanted to head out to the larger "West-of-the-Creek" Park (a.k.a. Westerly Creek to the rest of us), and there he rode over the bridges, under the bridges, downhill, uphill, the dirt paths and more until the sun went down.  On the ride home he asked, "Mommy, can we come back tomorrow, like, right after breakfast!"

Since last Monday, he has acquired a few new bruises and strawberries, and he is proud of each one, getting right back on to keep riding more.  He rides to school everyday and he even pointed out to Ella ("his friend") "look, I'm on 2 wheels!"  He has been all over the neighborhood this past weekend with my cousin Spencer and has even enjoyed the ramps and "pool" at the skatepark.  He can't get enough.
